The Strengths of SeedTech

  1. SeedTech has a lot of experience in the lab-based offshore development business, and also has experiences in the development of “Shopify”.
We have many experiences in the development of applications, web services, and business systems through our offshore development business using a method called “lab-based development,” in which a Japanese engineer serves as a communicator and forms a team with Filipino engineers to conduct development. We also specialize in the world’s largest EC platform from Canada, Shopify, which is currently used by more than 1 million stores in 175 countries around the world. We are looking forward to assisting more partners in the cross-border EC domain, where demand is expected to increase with the COVID-19 pandemic.
  2. The synergy between offshore development business and school business
As the shortage of IT, human resources becomes more serious, we are developing the “school x lab-based development” model as a new approach to help companies move forward with digitalization. By hiring and training Filipino engineers for each development project, and by hiring Japanese engineers trained through the operation of the school, we are able to provide a dedicated development team for our partner companies.
  3. A programming school that provides not just learning, but also practical work and side jobs.
We have been operating a programming school for 8 years, from study abroad courses in Cebu to online courses. With the establishment of Seed Tech, we have changed the format of our courses from a live online to a video format, allowing students to take courses at their own time and place as long as they have an internet connection. In addition, by including work experience and side jobs into the course, the curriculum has been renewed to be more ideal for original learning goals.

Message from Daisuke Takahara, CEO

It has been eight years since NexSeed was founded in Cebu, Philippines, as a group company of Geechs. Over 2,000 global IT professionals have graduated from our school, and we have developed and released many IT services with Japanese clients.
In order to focus on the Japanese market, where digitalization is expected to accelerate further under the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to establish a Japanese subsidiary to strengthen our system.
We have named the company “Seed Tech” to express our intention to leap forward even more into a company that specializes in technology.
As the company name suggests, we would like to produce services and human resources that will be the “seeds (driving force) of technology” from Japan to the world at a faster pace than ever before.
